W.O. Cassity grew up in the Mississippi Delta Valley dreaming of new worlds fueled by his passions for writing and playing tabletop games with his friends. As an adult, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where he pursued a career in IT and Telecommunications, working for companies such as Dell Computer Corporation, Verizon Wireless and Asurion. Will returned to his childhood passions sharing those experiences with his children. He went on to release his debut novel, “Heir of the Blood King” which was well received. He also has an ongoing horror short story series, “A Short Journey Into Darkness”. Will and his wife, Barbara, currently reside in Arkansas with their four children, three dogs and one very stinky cat.
Everitt Foster has written and published three books: two novels and one short story collection. He has also published in various academic journals relating to history and pop culture. He has been writing in some format or another since high school, where a journalism teacher encouraged him to consider a career as a writer. She wasn’t the last mentor to encourage him to pursue writing full time. And so after undergrad he attended graduate school where his writing and research talents were honed. He is a co-founding editor of Uprising Review, as well as a podcast host, blogger, and troublemaker. He enjoys the outdoors (rocks and astronomy) the indoors (gaming) and has a very large rock collection from all over the US. He currently lives in Budapest, Hungary. Do not feed before midnight and caffeinate regularly. Enjoy the ride.
George Spisak has had a love of reading and writing since she was in grade school. Currently, she’s taking that path a little more seriously and working hard on getting some of her stories out into the world. Often know for her sarcasm and occasional comedy, George’s paving her own path in the big, grand writing world. She owns a pet fish named Frog and a pet frog named Fish as well as a plethora of cats. George publishes under both George Spisak and Kyra Spisak, depending on genre and her mood.

Stephen Willis is a writer and musician from Arizona. He has written for a various companies and industries as a freelance copywriter and web developer. While his main focus has been writing for company websites, he has recently been working to promote his creative work as a fiction writer and as a folk musician for his solo project My Eclectic Self. In addition to being a co-founding editor of Uprising Review, he is also the editor of the poker news site, Growing Poker. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys hiking and language learning. He has an unhealthy relationship with his cat who is also his primary language exchange partner; he currently speaks with her in Dutch and Esperanto.
